Special Vendor Recruitment

We’re intentionally rounding out the Lyons Farmers Market with a small number of local meat and egg producers who are raising animals with care and contributing to a more regionally rooted food system.

We’re looking for:
• Responsibly raised meat + egg vendors
• Producers prioritizing quality, transparency, and stewardship
• Folks interested in building long-term community relationships

There is flexibility in scheduling, and we’re happy to support vendors in navigating logistics and setup needs.

Requirements:
• Market application submission
• Colorado sales tax license
• General liability insurance

Applications close May 22.
We’d love to hear from you if this feels aligned.

Emerging Vendor Program

We’re piloting a small Emerging Vendor Program for artisans and first-time sellers who may not yet have all the traditional market infrastructure in place, but who are creating thoughtful, high-quality work that would add to the spirit of the market.

This pathway is designed for:
• Small-scale, low-risk, non-food vendors
• First-time sellers or folks testing the waters
• Creatives facing upfront barriers to entry

The program is intentionally limited and built around flexibility, trust, and encouragement.

Requirements:
• Market application submission for all vendors
• Colorado sales tax license required for full-time + part-time attendance
• Guest vendors are exempt from sales tax license requirements
• Signed risk waiver required for participation

Applications close May 22.

Youth Booth Program

We’re creating a simple, low-barrier pathway for young people to participate in the market, share what they’re making, and experience what it feels like to take part in a local economy.

This opportunity is designed for:
• Kids + teens creating something of their own
• First-time sellers
• Friends or siblings who want to share a booth together

Youth vendors may sign up for individual dates throughout the season and participate alongside the broader market community.

Booth fee: $25 per market

Requirements:
• Sign up on the market spreadsheet
• Parent/guardian signed waiver

Rolling sign-ups are open all season and spots are first-come, first-served.
